I personally quite agree with Studen's assessment of 'current content' markets. What about the current state of gold-making? I do attempt to give the run down each week on how specific things are operating, functioning or not as the case may be - however Studen Albatroz published a general 'what's up with gold-making in BfA right now?' video and I think it's an excellent overview of how the gold-making community is running right now. Due to some tech infrastructure changes in Battle for Azeroth, we had to basically rebuild the existing Companion App from the ground up, but we’ll end up with a more robust foundation as a result.

In the recent update from the WoW development team on questions that went unanswered at the Blizzcon Q&A they did specifically mention that the mobile companion app would be making a return - perhaps this is when the missions will start to generate more gold and become another gold mine as they have been in previous expansions.īlizzard When will the WoW Mobile App ever be complete? I find it confusing that they say the gold-making potential of the Class Order Hall 'perhaps wasn't the best way' since the Garrison was exactly the same thing - unless this is said in such a way that they want that much gold to be generated but that it shouldn't be attached to a system like the mission table, especially when that is also tied to the mobile companion application which allows for even the most casual of casual players to participate and make gold for the minimum amount of effort. They will be monitoring and reevaluating gold numbers in future. He goes on to say that they understand that gold is a bit more difficult to come by for the 'average' player, especially if they're not frequently engaging in end-game content like world quests etc so that was the primary reason for the emissary cache hotfix that was disussed in last week's blog.
